Registered Users and Passwords
Registered login is currently used for moderator access.
Use Back to choices to return from registered account pages to the main entry choices.
First Login
On first login, enter:
- account id,
- password,
- password confirmation if the application asks you to set or confirm the password.
The application stores a password hash. It does not show the password back to users.
Later Login
On later logins, enter:
- account id,
- password.
After successful login, continue to the moderator dashboard.
Display Name
A registered account may have a display name. If the display name is blank, the account id is shown.
The display name is used for readable dashboard labels. It is not the same as a player name inside a game.
Changing Password
Use Change password in the registered workspace.
Enter:
- current password,
- new password,
- new password confirmation.
The password is changed only if the current password is correct and the new password fields match.
Forgotten Password
Self-service password reset is not part of the current workflow. During testing or class preparation, contact course staff or the system owner if an account needs help.
